Templates & Custom Datasets

Two small libraries for reusing your own work: saved schemas, and reusable lists of values.

Saved Templates

A schema is a template once you save it — from the Data Generator's right sidebar, "Save Schema". Templates shows every saved schema as an expandable card: name, field count, and each field's name and type when expanded.

  • Load into Generator — reopen a saved schema for editing or a fresh export.
  • Delete — remove a template you no longer need.

Custom Datasets

A separate workspace item for managing named, reusable lists of values — product SKUs, department names, status codes, anything specific to your domain that the built-in generators don't cover.

Once a dataset exists here, it's available anywhere in the Data Generator's field-type picker as a Custom Dataset field — pick the dataset by name and the generator draws random values from it for that column.
