License Agreement

The short version

Buy a seat, install it on one Mac at a time, don't redistribute or reverse-engineer it, and it's yours to use for as long as your license is active. The full terms below are the binding agreement — this box is just a plain-language summary, not a substitute for reading them.

1. Grant of License

This is a legal agreement between you ("Licensee") and Ricardo Burger Schalch Consultoria em Tecnologia da Informacao Ltda, doing business as RBSTech ("Licensor"), the operator of Data Maestro. By installing, copying, or otherwise using Data Maestro (the "Software"), you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.

Subject to payment of applicable fees and compliance with this agreement, Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Software for lawful commercial or personal purposes.

2. License Types

Free — Anyone may install and use the Software at no cost, limited to 100 rows per export or database push and 2 saved database connections. A 30-day trial of Pro features is included automatically on first install.

Pro — One (1) named individual may install and activate the Software on one (1) device at a time. Switching devices requires deactivating the prior device first (see Section 3).

Team — Up to the number of seats purchased (set by quantity at checkout) may each install and activate the Software on one (1) device per seat.

3. Device Activation

Pro and Team licenses are enforced per-device via an activation check. To move a license to a new device, deactivate it on the old device first (Settings → License → "Deactivate this Mac"), then activate it on the new one. Activation requires a network connection, and the Software periodically re-verifies an activated license with Licensor's activation server thereafter. If the Software cannot reach that server, it tolerates up to 30 days of offline use before treating the license as inactive; reconnecting restores it automatically.

4. Restrictions

Licensee shall NOT:

Redistribute, sublicense, sell, or otherwise transfer the Software to any third party
Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
Use the Software to violate any applicable laws or regulations
Exceed the scope of the purchased license type

5. Intellectual Property

The Software is protected by copyright laws and international treaties. Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. This license does not transfer any ownership rights.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Software is with the Licensee.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Licensor be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Licensor may terminate this license immediately if Licensee breaches any term. Upon termination, Licensee must destroy all copies of the Software.

9. Refunds

Licensee may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, for Pro or Team licenses of any billing period (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime). Refund requests are handled by Licensor's payment processor (Paddle) or by emailing the address below.

10. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
